Catch Bmoremedia‘s post titled, Michael Hearts Baltimore, about the artist and his Baltimore murals.

“My curiosity peaked as I gazed at the Baltimore Love Project wall…This is one mural in Baltimore City that is the epitome of creativity. In Baltimore City, there is a large gang associated population. Many of the gang members are able to identify themselves by colors, and by representation of hand gestures. I am excited for these murals to be placed deeper into the city so that when a gang member sees these finger symbols he or she will identify with love rather than a gang. The murals capture the essence of simple gestures to make observers stop for one moment and analyze not only the image of the word but an image of self. I appreciate the fact that it is a local effort to spread love throughout my hometown.” -Megan Reid (Baltimore Polytechic High School student)
