Wall 2 Sponsor /// Though a grant from TKF Foundation, we were able to put up our second mural, at the norther most area of the city, Mt. Washington. Already working with the Mt. Washington Arboretum, TKF offered us funding to help them on their mission to create “Open Spaces, Sacred Places”. Wall 3 Sponsor /// Schultz Development really got the project moving, buy fully funding our third mural, in Highlandtown, to be completed in the spring of 2010. BLP’s first corporate sponsor, Schultz Development, is a perfect partner as their vision is focused on the local community and their approach is creative and unique. Official Photographer /// Baltimore’s own, Sean Scheidt has been with the project since the beginning.  Sean is responsible for the documentation in “The Walls” section, was a contributing artist at Innovate Love, as well as the photographer behind the fabulous model shoot of our shirts.

Official Videographer /// Michael Ivan Schwartz of Loud Communications has helped us put together a promo video for the project. Michael’s experience in documenting for nonprofits and unique style has melded with BLP to create a work of art which we can use to raise more funds for the project. Sponsor /// Scion’s XChange program helped BLP raise thousands of dollars, which will be put toward the creation of the next BLP mural. The program is a 30 city US tour, where cars, artists and local boutiques come together to create create events that support local arts organizations. We’ve created a great bond with Scion and are slated to be involved on their next tour as well! Fundraiser Location /// “Innovate Love”, our fundraiser in May, will be held in Silo Point‘s glamorous pentouse. Innovate Love Partner /// Innovate Baltimore is a social community for creative technology leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and enthusiasts in the Baltimore region. We joined forced to throw a joint fundraiser called INNOVATE LOVE. This silent art auction raises money for both organizations, who’s visions both attempt to connect Baltimore in creative ways. Located in Richmond, VA, Turnstyle has proven that BLP transcends geographical lines by becoming our first partner outside Baltimore City. Fundraising Consultant /// Steve Haddad, of Sangha Solutions, has been offering the Baltimore Love Project fundraising advice from the beginning. As Sangha Solutions works with many organizations that are committed to social change, their experience has been extremely applicable and helpful in knowing who and how to approach the right funders for our specific project.
